HYDERABAD, July 1: Chief Executive Officer Guftar Anjum, on instructions from Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf, the Chief Executive Officer Hesco, once again directed the company officials to ensure six-hourly load management schedule in urban areas and eight-hourly in rural.

He warned of taking action against officials resorting to unscheduled loadshedding as they’ll be immediately placed under suspension.

He said officers of Operation Circle had already been issued instructions to chalk out load management schedule in consultation with local administration, district nazims, members of provincial and national assemblies to ensure water supply, drainage system, agriculture, and industrial sectors and commercial activities were not affected.

He said a monitoring cell had already been established at the company’s office to ensure implementation of the officially announced schedule, including grid stations.

He once again appealed to consumers to use energy savers instead of bulbs and conserve electricity between 5-10pm. He further said that electricity should be used in a legal manner and bills paid on time.
