KARACHI: Technical education

KARACHI, July 1: Sindh Minister for Women Development Tauqir Fatima Bhutto urged the jail authorities to pay more attention to the technical education of women and children prisoners, so that they could earn their livelihood after their release.

She was talking to jail officials during her visit to the women and children jail on Tuesday. She also directed the relevant officials to activate a computer and light engineering department in the jail.

Superintendent Sheeba Shah briefed the minister that prisoner children were receiving religious and formal education in the jail.—PPI
