HYDERABAD, June 29: The Sindhi Adabi Board and Sindhi Language Authority (SLA) have decided to play their due role in the development and promotion of the Sindhi language and to jointly publish books on language and literature.

The decision was taken at a meeting between SLA Chairperson Dr Fehmida Hussain and the board’s vice-chairman, Shaikh Aziz, here on Saturday.

They decided to make joint efforts to ensure the correct use of the Sindhi language and its spelling.

Later, Mr Aziz met noted educationist and scholar Mohammad Ibrahim Joyo at his residence.

Mr Joyo said that the board was now in proper hands and expressed the hope that it will be streamlined and improved.
