LAHORE, June 28: Traders in some markets on Saturday observed strike to protest against the disqualification of former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

The strike was observed in Shahalam Market, Circular Road, Urdu Bazaar, Anarkali, Nila Gunbad, Ferozepur Road and Abid Market on the call of Anjuman Tajran. Other markets and shopping centres remained open.
