KARACHI, June 28: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers, palm oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Eight ships, Nefeli, lbn Sina, Berenice, Ataqa, Oem Star, Golden Express, Vema Ocean and Vonus, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, chemicals, palm oil, furnace oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 69,903 tons comprising 63,895 tons of import and 6,008 tons of export tonnage was handled.
