KARACHI, June 28: Seven ships carrying containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday and will load cement and clinkers, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was relatively slow, where only three ships, B.M. Aventure and Blue Sky to unload and load general cargo and Orient-2 to unload rock phosphate were berthed after the departure of seven ships.

The departing ships were led by Conti-Jork, St. Irene, Kota Perdana, Johar, Ocean Coral, Red Sea Spirit and Akti-N, while Blue Sky, Athios, B.M. Aventure, Hyundai Emperor, Soraya, Cap Gabriel and Swat are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 92,049 tons comprising 56,107 tons of import tonnage and 35,942 tons of export cargo was handled.

The following vessels are due on Sunday: Kyun Jin Ks-3 to load cement, Beluga Fusion, City of Xiamen, Harmony with containers, Sari with general cargo and Timos Stavors to load 25,000 tons of clinker.

The following ships are due on Monday: Bengal Orchid, Mol Ability and Seven Seas Aurors with containers.
