Wattoo’s son elected to NA

OKARA, June 26: PPP candidate Mian Khurram Jehangir Khan Wattoo earned a victory with a big margin in by-election on NA-147 (Okara-V) constituency.

Khurram Wattoo bagged 76,375 votes while his rival candidate Mian Zafar Yasin (independent) could get only 13,800 votes.

The NA-147 seat was vacated by advisor to prime minister Mian Manzoor Wattoo, the father of winning candidate Khurram Wattoo who quit his tehsil nazim office, Deepalpur. — Correspondent
