MIRPURKHAS, June 26: The body of a teenager, who had been axed to death, was found outside his house in Baig Mari village in the Phuladiyoon area on Wednesday night.

Altaf Hussain Mari, 16, student of class-VII, had been missing for a few days. It is believed that he was axed to death after being kidnapped and the killers threw the body near his house.

The Phuladiyoon police took the body to a hospital for post-mortem. The police have taken into custody Babu Mari, cousin of the deceased. However, no case has been lodged till the filing of this report.
