PSM record sales

KARACHI, June 25: Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) achieved a record sale of Rs39 billion during the fiscal year 2007-08.

This was announced by a spokesman of PSM here on Wednesday. He said the previous sale record was Rs36 billion in 2006-07. The PSM earned a profit of Rs4.2 billion.

The spokesman also pointed out that there had been no increase in rates of PSM products for the past two months.

Chairman Pakistan Steel Moin Aftab Shaikh termed the record sales during 2007-08 as a significant achievement.—APP
