LAHORE, June 24: The fitness and top form of the filly Snow Fall makes her a strong contender and there are no chances that she would not win the feature event to complete a hat-trick of victories at day/night Lahore Gymkhana midweek races at the Racecourse on Wednesday evening.

The red-roan four-year-old filly in dazzling performance won two back-to-back races on May 14 and June 11 and is now on a hat-trick trail.

On both the occasions she was un-extended. On that show of speed, Snow Fall has the potential to beat the field she is contesting.

The Sukkur Plate, class VI division II will be the sixth and last race of the day. All the events will be contested over 900 metres.

Among her opponents, Kind Minister and Sohna Billoo may fight for place in a small field of seven runners.

Sona, Hikmat and Bird Fly are the pick of the nine runners drawn for the fifth and supporting event.

The unknown chestnut filly, Sona, is the fastest among them. Hikmat and Bird Fly come next in the same order.

Mere Lal, Sherni and Smiling Assassin have good chance in the fourth race. It should be a close contest with Mere Lal having a slight edge over others.

In Gymkhana races the runners often put up performances at variance, which are often totally unexpected of them.

Sohna Murad, Bioactive and Silent Assassin look good on present form in the third race.

The distance goes in favour of the first named.

Muskan, Alpha Juliet, Gypsy and Kiss Of Love are the form animals in the second race. The first named enjoys advantage on handicap and form over the others.

The first race seems to be an open affair with at least five runners on equally good chance. They are: Anarkali, Sohail, Kundan, Come On and One Pari.

However, the draw and the declaration of rider will indicate who are really on job.
