A meeting of the board held here at the ministry of environment allocated an amount of Rs30.661 million for repair and maintenance of the mausoleum and its allied installation.
It decided that Rs20.462 million would be spent on the salaries and other recurring expenditures.
An amount of Rs11.85 million has been set aside for operational expenditures of the mazar.
The meeting emphasised the need for urgent steps to hand over control of the mausoleum to Rangers. At present security arrangements are with a private security company.
On the request of the QMMB, some Rangers were deployed at the mausoleum but they were withdrawn later.
The meeting decided that the issue of withdrawal of Rangers would be taken up with the interior ministry and the Sindh government.
