KARACHI, June 23: Nine ships including five cement an clinker loaders are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships, Hansa Liberty, Itha Bhum, Oel Ability to unload and load containers, Caribbean Carrier to load cement, Irene, Bolan to unload and load general cargo, Jaikur-2 to offload rock phosphate and Fabulous to load clinker were berthed after the departure of over a dozen ships during the last two days.

The departing ships were led by Lalazar, Lucky Arrow, Lucky Man, Tower Bridge, Cap Skritas, Oel Sheryas, Punica, Y.M. Inauguration, Creek, S.E. Pauto-2, Venus, Jurong Babaru, Noor-e-Madina, Medi Cork and Wan Hai-302.

Five other, Vinalines Glory, Oel Ability, Caribbean Carrier and Irene are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 192,000 tons comprising 105,000 tons of export cargo and 86,828 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Johar with crude oil, Kho Hung, Kapitan Byankin and APL Jeddah with containers, Rio Ekuku, Pacific Arrow, Red Sea Spirit to load cement, Rosy Falcon and Berdyansk to load clinker.
