KARACHI, June 19: Five vessels carrying containers and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was steady where five ships, Oel Peace, Csav Lonquimay, Orient Stride and Sinar Bintan to unload and load containers and Salcaf to unload and load general cargo were accommodated berths.

Five vessels, Global Prosperity, Cape Negro, Harmony, APL Cairo and Banglar Mamata sailed out while Csav Lonquimay, Sinar Bintan, Robin, Jiao Cheng and APL Pusan are due to depart on Friday.

A total tonnage of 82,173 tons comprising 45,491 tons of export cargo and 36,682 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Creek, Eric G. Gibson, Oel Shreyas, Tower Bridge with containers and Bolan with general cargo.
