Islamabad shared files on 169 wanted men: Interpol

DAMASCUS, June 18: Interpol’s chief Ronald Noble says Pakistani authorities recently shared files with identity information and photos of 169 of the most wanted terrorist suspects belonging to Al Qaeda and its affiliates in Pakistan.

Noble spoke on Wednesday at the opening of a two-day anti-terrorism conference hosted by Syria’s interior ministry, at which 28 Middle East and North African countries are taking part.

The United States is not attending. Syria is on the State Department’s list of countries accused of sponsoring terrorism.
