KCCA event from Sunday

KARACHI, June 18: The first phase of the KCCA Annual Talent Hunt Programme will begin on Sunday (June 22) with the Inter-zonal Under-15 Cricket Championship, here at the KCCA Stadium.

KCCA Secretary Prof Siraj-ul-Islam Bukhari, Chairman Medicam Group of Companies and Vide President KCCA Khalil Ahmed Nainitalwala will inaugurate the event. KCCA President and Sindh Sports Minister Dr Mohammad Ali Shah will also attended the ceremony.

Players born on or after Sept 1, 1993 already selected by each zone through open trials are eligible to represent their respective teams.

Eight representative zonal teams, one from each zone with Lasbela, will take part in the tournaments on single league basis. Each team will play seven group matches.

All the zones have been asked to direct their cricketers to report to secretary tournament committee Tauseef Siddiqui through their zones for inaugural ceremony and facial scrutiny on June 22 at 11am in proper attire at the KCCA Stadium.

Players must bring with them their age and educational documents, form ‘B’, photocopy of CNIC of the family head and two passport-size photographs pasted on the prescribed proforma.—APP
