KARACHI: Encroachments removed

KARACHI, June 17: The nazim of Site Town, Izharuddin Ahmed Khan, on Tuesday said that all the hurdles in the execution of uplift projects would soon be removed and the operation against encroachments would continue at all cost.

He was talking to journalists after supervising removal of encroachments in the Union Council-9 on Ghousia Road.

The town nazim said that the campaign had been started against encroachments on the directives of the city government but land mafia was trying to sabotage this drive. He said that the removal of encroachments would facilitate construction of road from Ghousia Road to Major Anwar Shaheed police picket.

Meanwhile, the nazim of Liaquatabad Town, Osama Qadri, inaugurated the “Shuhada Park” at Union Council 6, Bandhani Colony.
