Khosas to move no-trust against Leghari
By Our Correspondent
DERA GHAZI KHAN, June 16: Power struggle between Leghari and Khosa groups has entered a decisive phase as the latter submitted a requisition for the council session to move no-trust against the nazim. The session will be held on June 19.
The strife between the rival groups had intensified after alleged occupation of district nazim’s office by the administration.
The administration’s move is said to be backed by provincial government.
Commenting on the issue, DCO Capt (retired) Asad, who was staff officer of former chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa, said district administration was bound to obey the orders from the top.
To ensure success of the no-trust move, khosas have dispatched the `like-minded’ members to Kashmore (Sindh) where they would stay till the day the session will be held. Meanwhile, on being moved by District Nazim Maqsood Leghari in a contempt petition a local court has summoned the DCO and other officers concerned for violating a stay order against occupation of the nazim office on June 18.
A member of Leghari group claimed that they enjoyed support of more than 30 members out of 79.
