GUJRAT, June 16: Three people, including two minors, were killed and a couple was injured when a truck hit two motorcycles near Biyowali village on Jallalpur Jattan Road here on Monday evening.

The accident occurred when Iftikhar Husain, his wife and their minors Tajamul and Mahjabeen were traveling on their motorcycle. Near Biyowali, their motorcycle collided with another motorcycle of Adeel, of Jallalpur Jattan. All of them fell there and before they could get up, a truck bearing registration AJKA-1625 ran over them leaving Adeel, minors Tajamul and his sister Mahjabeen dead, while the parents of the minors, Iftikhar and his wife were injured. Edhi ambulances shifted the injured to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital from where Iftikhar was referred to Lahore due to his serious condition.
