PESHAWAR, June 16: Two persons were killed and five others injured when unidentified persons opened fine on a car in Bara Qadeem area on Monday.

Reports said a tribal elder from the Khyber Agency Ziaul Haq, who is a member of the Zakhakhel tribe, along with some persons was on his way to Bara tehsil of the agency in a vehicle when some unidentified assailants ambushed their vehicle on the Bara-Peshawar Road.

The other victim was identified as Hashim and some of the injured were stated to be children.
