KARACHI: Electrocuted


KARACHI, June 16: A 28-year-old electrician of a steel factory was electrocuted at his workplace in Site.

The police said Irfan Masih, resident of Essa Nagri, received a fatal electric shock during work at the Sunny Steel Factory.

The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for autopsy and was later handed over to the victim’s family.

Meanwhile, a 55-year-old man was killed when an elevator fell down from the sixth floor of Chappal Garden Plaza in Clifton.

Boat Basin police said that the victim was identified as Yaqoob Rana, driver of a resident of Chappal Garden Plaza.

He was the resident of Neelam Colony.—Staff Reporter
