KARACHI, June 16: Four ships scheduled to load/offload containers, palm oil and coke were allotted berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more ships carrying containers, phosphoric acid and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Rosa-M, Sima Pars, Mustafa Bey, Sinai, Ginga Lion, Kaghan and Jin Yuan, were busy in loading/unloading containers, cement, palm oil, iron ore and coke.

A cargo volume of 30,464 tons comprising 22,940 tons of import and 7,524 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was also active as Chitral and Sima Pars departed while Rosa-M and Ginga Lion were due to leave the port.
