Lawyers hold demo in NY
NEW YORK, June 15: Several members of lawyers’ community in New York travelled in a chartered bus to hold a demonstration in front of the Pakistan Consulate and the United Nations headquarters in the city on Saturday.
According to one eyewitness, the lawyers stopped briefly in front of the Pakistan consulate shouted slogans like ‘Restore Judiciary’, ‘Down with PCO’ and ‘Go, Musharraf Go’.—Correspondent
