Breach in canal floods village
SHIKARPUR, June 14: Bhanbheehar Shaakh developed a 30-foot breach, inundating one hundred acres of land prepared for paddy and several houses in Bhambho Khan Jaffery village of Garhi Yasin taluka on Saturday.
The villagers plugged the breach on self help basis.
No irrigation official reached the spot though they were informed, said the villagers.
