LAKKI MARWAT: Expelled ANP leaders term step illegal

By Our Correspondent

LAKKI MARWAT, June 14: Three local leaders of the Awami National Party, who were expelled from the party earlier this week, have termed the step illegal and in violation of the party discipline.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club here on Friday, Allah Nawaz Khan, Munawar Khan and Humayun Khan said a 28-member delegation had called on party’s provincial president Afrasyab Khattak to discuss with him organisational matters and apprise him of the grievances of workers.

“The provincial president assured us that the ANP’s district leaders of Lakki Marwat will not take any step that could disintegrate the party and harm its image,” they said.
