AFC summer camp from today

KARACHI, June 12: A summer football camp for boys between the ages of 13 to 18 commences at the People’s Sports Complex on Friday at 5.00pm.

The month-and-a-half long camp being held under the auspices of the youth development talent hunt programme of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) in collaboration with the Zonal Football Association Zone-IV (South) will be inaugurated by Sindh Football Association (SFA) Chairman South Nasir Karim Baloch.

Coaching and training will be provided during the weekends (Friday to Sunday) by the AFC Aid 27 coaches Hassan Baloch and Zafar Iqbal (PIA) with assistance from associate coaches Akhlaq Ahmed, Mohammad Jamil and Yousuf Khan.

Interested players are to report to camp commandant Mohammad Yaqub along with their own kits and protective gear and a copy of the ‘B’ form.

The camp concludes on Aug 1.
