MIANWALI, June 12: The Punjab Technical Board (PTB) has removed an examination superintendent over corruption charges. The board set up a centre at the Government Technical Institute Mianwali for annual examination of Diploma in Associate Engineering. Students of public and private institutes of the district were taking exam at the centre, where Hafiz Muhammad Sadiq of Government Technical Education Institute Sargodha was acting as superintendent.
Sadiq was accused of corruption. A board team investigated the allegations against him and found him guilty of corruption. As a result, the board chairman removed Sadiq and appointed Sajjad Saeed Ghorani in his place.
