ISLAMABAD, June 11: Parliamentarians of Pakistan and Afghanistan agreed on Wednesday to meet every six months, alternating between Islamabad and Kabul, to continue the parliamentary dialogue.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by two countries, says a press release issued here by the office of Chairman of Senate Standing Committee on Foreign relations.

Under the agreement the next meeting of the Pakistan Afghanistan Parliamentary Dialogue would take place in Kabul in November this year.

The concluding round of talks between the Afghan delegation and Pakistani team was held at the parliament house with Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman Mushahid Hussain Syed in the chair.

The Afghan delegation also met Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at the Prime Minister's House.

Prime Minister Gilani informed the Afghan delegation that he had sanctioned export of 50,000 tons of wheat to Afghanistan on a concessionary rate, lower than the rate in Pakistan.
