KARACHI, June 11: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers and chemicals and iron ore were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, one more ship carrying crude oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Seven ships Maersk Denpasar, Mustafa Bey, Atlantic Dream, Chitral, Southern Bull, Qem Star and Kaghan, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, rice, palm oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 44,768 tons comprising 34,395 tons of import and 10,373 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Maersk Denpasar, Southern Bull, Atlantia, Qem Star sailed out.
