Five school buildings retrieved


SIALKOT, June 10: On the directives of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, officials of the Education Department along with police on Tuesday got vacated buildings of five government schools being used as cattle sheds by the local influential for the last several years.

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Atta Muhammad Khan told reporters that buildings of the Government Boys Elementary School, Chahoor, Government Boys Primary School, Arki Dograan, Government Girls Primary School, Arki Dograan, Government Boys Primary Schools, Mattekey, and Government Boys Primary School, Raankey Nagra, were got vacated from illegal occupants who had converted these premises into their cattle sheds.

He said school buildings illegally occupied by the local influential in other urban and rural areas of this district would also be got vacated soon. The DCO said a strict legal action was being taken against the illegal occupants. — Correspondent
