Two drown
TAXILA, June 10: Two youngsters drowned in Khanpur Dam, police said on Tuesday.
Officials told this correspondent that a group of people were swimming near the spillway of Khanpur dam when a young man identified as Wajid drifted into deep waters.
His friend, Umar, tried to save him, but both of them drowned.
Local rescuers fished out the bodies of the two men who belonged to Rawalpindi.
