MIRPURKHAS: Newsman dies

MIRPURKHAS, June 10: Senior journalist of Mirpurkhas Dost Ali Bhatti died after protracted illness at Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi late Monday night. He was 65.Mr Bhatti was reporter of Daily Ibrat in Mirpurkhas and chief editor of weekly Paigham-i-Sindh, Mirpurkhas. He was the founder of Mirpurkhas press club.

He was seriously ill for the last one month. His body was brought to his ancestral town Tando Allahyar on Tuesday morning. A number of people, including journalists, friends and relatives, attended his funeral.

Mr Bhatti remained president of Mirpurkhas Press Club for number of times.
