KARACHI, June 10: Five ships carrying containers and to load cement and clinker are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships including Lucky Man, Oel Victory and Sinar Agra were berthed on Tuesday after the departure of half a dozen ships notably Bravo P and Mol Ability.

Cargo handling at the wharves was relatively slow as the total tonnage handled fell to 59,417 tons comprising 44,236 tons of export cargo and 15,181 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: APL Pusan, Kota Mars, Hyundai Admiral with containers, Lucky Arrow to load cement and Noor-i-Madina to load clinker.
