PARACHINAR: Slain tribesmen’s bodies handed over to heirs


PARACHINAR, June 9: The bodies of two tribesmen, who were killed in Afghanistan last week, were brought to Parachinar in Kurram tribal region on Monday.

The deceased identified as Syed Mohammad Ibrahim and Syed Hamid Hussain from Turi tribe were coming from Peshawar via Kabul to their hometown last week. Unidentified persons shot them dead after kidnapping in Shehr-i-Nau area near the border.

Their bodies were handed over to their relatives on Monday and were brought to Parachinar. They had stranded in Peshawar for the last few months due to closure of Thall-Parachinar road.—Correspondent
