KARACHI, June 9: Two ships carrying furnace oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

In the meantime, three more vessels to load offload rice and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Mustafa Bey, Atlantic Dream, Sionar Agra, Atlantia, Vema Ocean and

S.D Nova, were busy in loading and unloading cement, chemicals, palm oil, furnace oil and coal.

A cargo volume of 54,499 tons comprised of imported commodities was handled.

Eagle, Sea Lion, S.D Nova and Sinar Asgra sailed out.
