KARACHI, June 8: Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, president of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), has praised the Sindh government’s efforts in bringing relief to the ailing and poor sportsmen in the region.

While thanking the Sindh Sports Minister Dr Mohammad Ali Shah and the Governor of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan for their kind gesture in bringing some relief to the ailing former Pakistan football captain Qadir Bux Baloch, who has been partially paralysed since the last five years, through the Legend’s Fund, the PFF chief told Dawn from Lahore that he is grateful to the Sindh government for extending its help to a national player of the past.

“I am grateful to both the minister and governor in helping a long-forgotten football legend of our country,” he said.
