KARACHI, June 6: Fiver ships carrying containers and to load ethanol and naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Six ships, Harmony, APL Dalian, Kota Puri, Global Progress and Creek to unload and load containers and Johar to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of four.

The departing ships were led by APL Jeddah, Csav

Teno, Harmony and Winco Silvia, while Kota Puri, Mol Affinity, Global Progress, Johar, Creek, Bavaria Express and Chitral are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 124,000 tons comprising 38,915 tons of export cargo and 85,115 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Oram Blossom, Chemstar Venus to load ethanol, Sinar Agra with chemicals, High Trader to load naphtha and Global Prosperity with containers.
