NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 4: The SHO Padidan has been transferred for harassing people. Hundreds of people in Padidan took out a rally on Tuesday demanding his immediate transfer.

About 300 protesters from Padidan and Cheho under the leadership of Banhoon Khan Rajpar, Dr Abid Rajpar and Abdul Karim Siyal staged sit-in for two hours on Sada Wah Bridge blocking Padidan-Naushahro Feroze Road.

They alleged the SHO Padidan Khadim Bhatti of harassing villagers as on Sunday he arrested dozens of labourers.

The DSP Naushahro Feroze Hubdar Ail Shah reached the spot and assured protesters of justice, while the DPO Zulfiqar Ali Larik suspended the SHO and appointed Abdul Majeed Arain in his place.
