KARACHI, June 4: Four ships scheduled to load/offload containers and cement were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, another ship carrying iron ore also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Five ships, Maersk Deimont, Rosa-M, Wales-II, Atlantic Dream, and Venus, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 45,006 tons comprising 31,550 tons of import and 13,456 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Four ships, Fair Partner, Navajo Spirit, Venus and Maersk Deimont sailed out while Rosa-M was expected to leave the port.
