Bryan twins crash out
PARIS, June 2: American twins Bob and Mike Bryan, the world’s top men’s doubles team, crashed out of the French Open on Monday losing 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (7-1) to unseeded Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay and Peru’s Luis Horna in the quarter-finals.
The brothers, who were champions here in 2003 and runners-up in 2005 and 2006, were looking to win a sixth Grand Slam title.
The defeat left Mike stuck on 49 career doubles titles while Bob has 47.—AFP
