KARACHI June 2: Three ships carrying containers and steel cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Sao Paulo-2 and Blida to load cement, Noor-i-Madina to load clinkers, Orient Stride, Cosco Dammam to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of well over a dozen ships.

The departing ships were led by Calvin P. Titus, Cape Ann, Oel Trust, Y.M. Inventive, Jakarta Express, Soon Fu, Lucky Man, Sune Rose, Bengal Orchid, Conti Express, Morya, Lucky Arrow, Blue Diamond and Chemroad Nova.

Three others, Cosco Dammam, Noor-i-Madina and Orient Stride are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 124,000 tons comprising 64,015 tons of export cargo including 19,000 tons of cement and clinkers and 59,619 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Itha Bhum, Kuo Hung and APL Dalian with containers and Kety-2 with steel cargo.
