MoU for turbine signed


KARACHI, June 2: Planet Energy (Pvt) Limited Pakistan has signed an MoU with Chinese firm Goldwind Science and Technology, one of the world’s top turbine manufacturers, to purchase turbines for its planned 50 MW wind power plant that will have expansion capacity to 150 MW.

The MoU was signed in Urumqui, China, says a statement issued by Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry here on Monday.

The agreement was signed by Planet Energy chairman Tariq Sayeed and Goldwind Science vice-president Wang Xiangming.—APP
