LAKKI MARWAT, June 1: Residents of Tajori and other adjacent villages have expressed deep concern over the deplorable condition of the Malang Adda-Tajori link road.

They have demanded of the provincial government to allocate special funds for its repair and maintenance.

“The 25-km link road connects dozens of villages and small hamlets of Tajori sub-division as well the tribal belt of the Frontier region with other parts of the district and country through Bannu-Mianwali road”, Shadi Khan of Umarabad village said.

He added that the plight of the link road had multiplied the problems of the local people.

“The long and scattered ditches on the road are also causing nuisance for the pedestrians and hindering smooth flow of traffic”, he maintained.
