SUKKUR: 10 faint after cylinder burst


SUKKUR, May 30: Ten people, including a woman and four children, were fainted after inhaling ammonia gas spread in the air after a gas cylinder burst in an ice factory, on Military road, here on Thursday.

The gas cylinder burst in the factory of Hakim Ali Khoso.

Hakim and four of his workers, including Kamran, Ali Bux Unnar and others received minor injuries and fell unconscious while due to the leakage of the gas a woman in a nearby house, Reshman, along with her four minor children also fell unconscious.

All of the affected people were taken to a local hospital, where Reshman, Hakim, Ali Bux Unnar and Kamran were admitted, while others were sent home after being provided first aid.—Correspondent
