ISLAMABAD, May 29: The parliamentary board of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Thursday announced its candidates for three National Assembly and 18 provincial assembly seats for by-elections to be held on June 26.

According to a press release issued from the Zardari House, the following candidates have been given party tickets:

National Assembly – NA-11 (Mardan-III), Khanzada Khan; NA-147 (Okara-V), Moazzam Wattoo, and NA-207 (Larkana-IV), Faryal Talpur (elected unopposed).

Punjab Assembly – PP-59 (Faisalabad-IX), Qasim Zia; PP-70 (Faisalabad-XX), M. Ismail; PP-99 (Gujranwala-IX), Qaiser Iqbal Sindhu; PP-107 (Hafizabad-III), Babar Sohail; PP-118 (Mandi Bahauddin-III), Zulfiqar Gondal; PP-171 (Nankana Sahib-II), Rai Ijaz; PP-219 (Khanewal-VIII), Mureed Quraishi; PP-277 (Bahawalnagar-I), Tariq Gadoka; PP-258 (Muzaffargarh-VIII), Zakaullah; and PP-295 (Rahimyar Khan), Abdul Qadir Gillani.

Sindh Assembly – PS-30 (Khairpur-II), Syed Bachal Shah; PS-44 (Matiari), Amir Ali Shah; and PS-62 (Tharparkar-III), Sharjeel Memon.

Balochistan Assembly – PB-9 (Pishin-II), Asfandyar Khan; and PB-44 (Lasbela-I), Ghulam Akbar Lasi.

NWFP Assembly – PF-59 (Batagram-I), Akhtar Javed; PF-82 (Swat-II), Afzal Shah; and PF-91 (Upper Dir-I), M. Anwar Khan.
