KARACHI, May 27: Two ships carrying palm oil and crude oil arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Berth occupancy fell to 50 per cent as only five ships, Maersk Carolina, Shad Wan Island, Wales-II, Jorita and Nord Vision, were busy in loading/offloading containers, cement, coal and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 47,873 tons comprising 28,144 tons of import and 19,729 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Al-Slam-II and Maersk Carolina sailed out.
