US team visits KSE

KARACHI, May 27: A US delegation led by Senator Robert Casey Jr, Consul General Kay Anske and their aides visited the Karachi Stock Exchange on Tuesday, a KSE press release said.

The delegation was greeted by KSE managing director, Adnan Afridi, who gave a presentation. It contained an overview of Pakistan’s economy and the prevailing opportunities and challenges facing the country.

The KSE MD was stated to have briefed the Senator extensively on the capital markets and the stock exchange in particular. Corporatisation and demutualisation of the KSE were also discussed.
