BD tops peace index
ISLAMABAD, May 26: Bangladesh has ranked first among the nations in South Asia in the grading of peaceful states in 2008, said a study of the Global Peace Index.
According to the study of the Global Peace Index, an independent think tank, Bangladesh placed 86th among 140 countries in the ranking of peaceful nations in 2008, which is ahead of other nations in South Asia. Iceland tops the survey of 140 states.—APP
