Gough to quit
LEEDS (England), May 26: Former England fast bowler and current Yorkshire captain Darren Gough will retire from first-class cricket at the end of the 2008 season.
“I think it’s time now,” Gough said after Yorkshire’s washed out Friends Provident Trophy match against Derbyshire on Sunday.
“I’m 37, we’ve got some good youngsters coming through and I’ll be 38 when I’ve retired. I think I’ve had a good innings and it’s time to call it a day.”—Agencies
