Protesters carrying placards, banners chanted slogans against the government.
District President of the PPP-SB, Altaf Bhatti and Ghani Rind, Ali Gul Keerio and Tufail Memon said people expected a lot from the new government but in vain.
They alleged that the government was blackmailing their rivals. They demanded the opening of the watercourses and an end to political victimisation.
BREACH: A 25-feet wide breach occurred in Chan Bandhni minor canal of near Jam Saheb on Monday.
Gushing water entered Chhuttal Vistro and Mohammad Moosa Brohi villages, besides standing cotton and others crops were also affected.
