KARACHI, May 26: Nine ships carrying tallow, containers and to load clinkers and molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, R.M. Power, with coal, Oel Mumbai, Jitra Bhum, Creek to unload and load containers, Bao Fu Man to unload and load general cargo, Royal Imperial, and Lalazar, oil tankers, were berthed during the last two days.

Sailing was also active as over a dozen ships notably Y.M. Improvement, Eric G. Gibson, Oel Shreyas, Jitra Bhum, Bunga Delima, Iron Butterfly, Lena, Jaikur-1, Doris, Formosa Product Cosmos, Admir Oral, Rising Om, Thor Hawk and Smarty departed.

While Star Canopus, Royal Imperila, Arnis, Sea Princess, Lalazar, Mariana-3, Bao Fu Man and Khairpur are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 228m tons comprising 73,312 tons of export cargo including 17,742 tons of cement and 5,327 tons of rice and155,000 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Robin to load 34,200 tons of molasses, Chemstar Prince with 7,000 tons of tallow, Cape Negro, APL Jeddah, Sinar Bintan, Ninth Ocean with containers, Chitral, Ocean Friend with general cargo and Noor-i-Medina, to load 16,800 tons of clinkers.
